April Agenda

Spring time in Provence is heavenly ! Blossom makes you feel happy ! There is all the promise of a new season awakening bringing with it morning and evening markets, new exhibitions and traditional festivals. Enjoy the season and its locals products !



* Isle sur Sorgue, Campredon Contemporary Art Gallery, Christine Ferrer.

* Les Baux de Provence, Carrières de Lumières, Multimedia show on Renaissance.

  * Marseille, Musée Regards de Provence, « Lumières du Sud » (light of south).

  * La Roque d’Anthéron, Silvacane Abbaye, « Autour de la lumière »

* Mormoiron, Painting Exhibition J.E. Turquin and wine tasting at Château Pesquié.

* Cairanne, Wine fair, Salle Communale in the center of the village, 5€ including a glass for the tasting.18th and 19th April.

   * Avignon, Les Halles, covered market, cooking demonstration with tasting with Chef N.Jay from Fines Roches Châteauneuf du Pape. Free.18th April.

* Avignon, Eglise Saint Didier, Concert, « Oratorio de Pâques » J.S. Bach, 5PM. 19th April.

* Isle sur Sorgue, street market in the morning and Flea market all day.Every Sunday.

* Le Thor, Terroir Festival, Asparagus guest star !  19th April.

* Saintes Maries de la Mer, Bull Race at 4PM, 9€ 19th April.

* Hyères, Sailing World Cup, « Toutes Voiles Dehors ». From 20th to 26th April.

* Vallon Pont d’Arc, Ardèche, opening of the exact replica of the « Chauvet Cave » dated 32000 BP, 13€ per person. From 25th April.

 * Avignon, Les Halles covered market, cooking demonstration with tasting with chef C.Carlier from Mas Valentine, Saint Rémy de Provence. 25th April.

* Pernes les Fontaines, Bull Race at 3PM, 8€ 25th April.
* Mormoiron,  Asparagus festival, all day in the village.26th April.
